Why cyber-risk?
The founders noticed that despite advancements in cybersecurity the frequency and scale of cyber-attacks was growing exponentially. Many organizations had significant cybersecurity budgets and resources but were still susceptible to attack and successful data breaches.
A famous quote from the advertising industry is “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is, I don't know which half.” We’re not suggesting half of every cybersecurity budget is wasted. Undoubtedly some organizations are under-funded.
What we do believe is organizations don’t always have a clear method for analyzing how effective different components of their cybersecurity budget are. Or if they need to allocate more funding and focus in some areas?

Our Predator-Prey Platform does that for you. We are a cyber-risk organization and perform capability assessments across 4 domains and the resultant dashboard succinctly identifies an organization’s high-risk behavior.
The dashboard is easily understood by non-technologists, technologists and the executive leadership. It can be used to influence and inform Enterprise Risk Management, Budget and Strategy.

Or commentary loaded with unfathomable techno-babble. Our dashboard instead focuses on your organization, current capability and opportunities for enhancement.
Cyber Insurance
One benefit of having a demonstrable understanding of your cyber-risk profile is when dealing with cyber-insurance. Being a relatively new industry the insurers can have difficulty pricing risk and that can translate into excess premiums or insufficient coverage. Consider the question of who was behind an attack? Who decides that? Why does it matter? If it’s attributed to a nation state actor is it considered a terror attack or an act of war? Does your cyber-insurance policy provide cover for such attacks?

Charlotte Badger analyze 4 domains of an organization’s cybersecurity behavior – the Predator-Prey Platform. There are 11 assessments and they can be purchased individually or collectively. Each assessment is available for basic, standard or advanced analysis.
The resultant dashboard succinctly identifies an organization’s high-risk behavior. Platform outputs can be used to influence and inform Enterprise Risk Management, Budget and Strategy.

For want of a better phrase we eat our own dog food. The Charlotte Badger web site consists of static html pages. The web site has no code base so there’s nothing to hack. That’s the lowest possible risk.
